Justice Saleem Marsoof, who is currently a Judge of the Supreme Court of Fiji, had adorned the Official Bar in Sri Lanka for 28 years rising from State Counsel to the position of Additional Solicitor General prior to being elevated as the President of the Court of Appeal of Sri Lanka in early 2004 and shortly thereafter as a Judge of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka.
